Weekly inspirations - four

The picnic season is upon us! I really love summer, actually I love every season but..summer and spring are the picnic seasons! Few days ago I was searching on amazon a cheap picnic basket to buy...I want them all! They are so beautiful! I'll absolutely buy one!

This week I've started a DIY project with some old IKEA placemats, I hope to share it with you very soon!

These are the inspirations of this week, I hope you will like them:

WISHLIST : I'm a flats lover...I really want these ballerinas! I love the color and the detail on the tip. If you love them too take a look at modcloth site.

DESIGN :  lovely tables at the ikibana restaurant by El Equipo Creativo. I think they are beautiful and functional.

Second place

Last weekend I went to Pescara for the award ceremony of the ice CREAm competition! I've told you about this project last month and finally I have the outcome....We've won the second prize!!!!!!!!

During the ceremony I've met the contest coordinator, she is a supercute woman and president of the GAPeC association ( Giovani Architetti di Pescara e Chieti - Young Architect of Pescara and Chieti ).

She congratulated with me and my friend Martina (who came with me at the award ceremony) for our project, it was very exciting. It's nice to talk with people who appreciate what you do...it's really satisfying!

The other contest's finalists were very interesting projects.

WEEKLY INSPIRATIONS - three

Hi guys! Sunday has finally arrived! This has been a very busy week for me, I worked on the Ice Cream contest I told you about last week. I've been up late every night because I had to go to work during the day!

It was hard but I'm really satisfied! When I'll know the contest result I'll share it with you!

Next week I hope to find the time to make something on my to do list!

Meanwhile these are my weekly inspirations:

DIY : A super cute DIY tablecloth project! There is a step by step tutorial on the sweetest occasion website! When I saw it I immediately signed it on my to do list! (my to do list is veeeery long....help!)

YUM : Summer is coming don't get caught unprepared! On Martha Stewart website there are 10 yummi smoothie recipes ! I can't wait to try all of them!

INTERIOR : I love colors, especially in interiors! I like this idea, characterize one room with a special color and go the extra mile on the door! Amazing! Take a look at Fresh home - design and architecture site, there are many interesting ideas.

PHOTOGRAPHY :  This is a Csonge Balla photo. I love the composition and the first time I looked at this photo I thought about a little bicycle family! I could write a story about it for my little niece, it would be really funny!

LOGO : Last but not least there is this Ice cream social logo designed by Patrick Mahoney on dribbble! Simple, essential...perfect! I was inspired by it for the logo of the Ice cream contest.

WEEKLY INSPIRATIONS - two

Hi! This week I would like to make somethings on my to do list but it was a superbusy week and I couldn't find one minute for me! work work work! I'm working on a new project with SML group (three dear friends of mine), the name of the project is "all you need is ice cream", It's an Italian contest about ice cream design and marketing...I'm so excited! I'll share it with you as soon as we finish it!

Today in Rome is a wonderful spring Sunday, or I should say summer Sunday considering the temperatures,23°C! May is definitely arrived in town.  I love days like this!

I like Sunday very much, I have so much time to make things I love to do and to recharge energy for a new week.

I usually spend Sundays to garner all the ideas for future projects and to be inspired by others.

DIY - Nautical fever

Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing with you a navy shirt DIY project!

Some days ago it's been the birthday of my friend Cocò. I've decided to make her an homemade gift because I think it is very personal and a great demonstration of how much I care about her.

When I gave the shirt to her she was really happy!

I've had in my mind a project like this for a long time because I'd like to make a shirt similar to this one for my trusted doctor Valentina! I'm really sorry my dear Vale, I know you're still waiting but I promise that I won't make you wait forever.

Strawberry and chocolate birthday cake!

Hi there! As I've promised I'm sharing with you the step by step recipe of my birthday cake.

I've made this delicious dessert with my big sister Alessia, she is a very good pastry chef. 

Few days ago my family and I have tasted the cake, it was really...really good!!! The cream was soft and the cake delicious! My nephew kept saying "yummi yummi", he was so cute! (He is 18 months old!)
